About Us
The Rahway Department of Health is a government agency that provides local public health and environmental health services.
Our mission is to prevent disease and promote physical and mental well-being through policy development, disease detection, prevention, education and enforcement in a culturally competent manner that ensures the highest quality of life for those who live and work in our community. Our commitment extends to maintaining the highest standards of accuracy and confidentiality in managing vital statistics and medical records. Through the strategic use of data, the department aims to inform evidence-based policies and interventions, ultimately contributing to a healthier and more resilient Rahway.
The Rahway Health Department also provides local public health and environmental health services for the Township of Winfield.
