“Breast Cancer Awareness Month is very important to me personally as my mom has battled and beaten breast cancer, and I am very proud to partner with RWJUH Rahway for this important cause. Together, we can spread awareness and show our support for everyone who has been affected by breast cancer while changing and saving lives,” said Mayor Raymond A. Giacobbe.
“We are honored to partner with the City of Rahway during Breast Cancer Awareness Month to bring attention to the importance of early detection and screening for a disease that impacts so many in our community. Together with Rutgers Cancer Institute of New Jersey, the state’s only National Cancer Institute-designated Comprehensive Cancer Center, we provide patients access to the most advanced treatment options and are committed to advancing cancer research.,” said Kirk Tice, President and CEO of RWJUH Rahway.
Breast Cancer Awareness Month serves as an important time to remind individuals about the importance of regular breast cancer screenings and early detection. We encourage citizens to learn the facts about breast cancer, get regular screenings, and invest in a healthy future through exercise and a healthy diet.
