How do I obtain a copy of my property survey?: Property surveys are the responsibility of the homeowner and not the City. Property surveys are not issued, nor are they maintained, by the City of Rahway. If you wish to obtain a survey of your property, you must hire a licensed surveyor to perform the service.

1. Who Do I Report An Issue To Regarding Trees, Sidewalks, or Street Conditions?

First, know whether or not you live on a County Road (this list includes east and west):

Elizabeth Avenue
Grand Avenue
Hart Street
Hazelwood Avenue
Lawrence Street
Madison Hill Road
Milton Avenue
New Brunswick Avenue
Ross Street
Scott Avenue
Westfield Avenue
Woodbridge Road

If you do live on one of the roads above, then when it comes to the trees, the road, and the sidewalk, the County Engineering, Public Works & Facilities Department can assist you.

For all other streets, the number to report a pothole is 732-827-2061, and if you have an issue with a City tree call 732-827-2060

Lastly, if there is an issue with the public sidewalk or street, call 732-827-2176 or email Engineering@cityofrahway.com
